Waterfront Basics

Extensive changes are planned for the 14 miles of the Anacostia River waterfront to establish a place of pride and excitement. Some of these changes include the healing of the natural environment, 25 new sites for cultural venues, extensive parks, improved transportation and mobility, and even a new signature bridge.
